Sony PlayStation 4 Games List #62

Game #01:

"The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth"

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of The Binding of Isaac developed by Nicalis and designed by Edmund McMillen. Players control a crying naked child named Isaac or other unlockable characters. The game's title and plot were inspired by the Biblical story of the Binding of Isaac. According to McMillen, the game touches on themes including religion, children, and mothers. Similar to the original, Rebirth is a top-down 2D dungeon crawler game where the player controls the character Isaac (or 10 unlockable characters) as he adventures throughout his mother's basement. Rebirth is considered a roguelike-like game; the dungeon levels are procedurally generated into a number of rooms including at least one boss battle, and the game has permadeath: once the chosen character dies from taking too much damage, the game is over and the player will have to restart, but unlike in the original game, in Rebirth the player can now save the game for the current session. Ultimately, the player aims to first defeat Isaac's mom while she tries to crush him underfoot, then moves to inside her, upon while the player must defeat Isaac's mom's own heart.

Game #02:

"Home"

My comment for this game is...the graphic is so so...overly so so...from the trailer, you also will not know what is the gameplay like...really don't understand what Benjamin Rivers was thinking during that time... Home is a unique horror adventure set in a beautifully-realized pixel world. It’s a murder mystery with a twist—because you decide what ultimately happens. Awakened by an oncoming storm, you open your eyes to discover yourself in a strange, dark room—tucked away in a house that’s not yours. As you play the game, it changes—subtly, almost imperceptibly—to reflect your perspective. It's a horror game unlike any other, and as you'll discover, its truths are entirely subjective.

Game #03:

"How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition"

How to Survive is a survival horror action role-playing video game developed by EKO Software and published by 505 Games. How to Survive is played from a top-down perspective. There are two game modes, story and challenge, and both can be played with up to two players. Challenge mode puts the player(s) on one side of the island, and they must get to the other side, where their getaway vehicle awaits. The player's mission is to gather materials, craft weapons, and make it off the island without dying. Neither challenge or story are timed, and therefore, the player can take as long as they want.
